Reynolds is scheduled to return home Wednesday. She's not sure when she'll see Twitty again, but she is sure to tell her daughter what Twitty only wishes she could tell Holloway: "I tell her I love her, and I'll be crying like a dog and just crying. I know I will be when I get on that plane, but she won't see me." Meanwhile, the man who originally said he saw Joran van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers by a hotel stuck to his story this week in court, Storm says. That's significant because it means the boys may not have been truthful about their whereabouts the night Holloway disappeared, which has been Twitty's contention all along. Van der Sloot is the only suspect still in custody in connection to the Holloway case. The brothers were held for a time, then released. |
Police spokesman Edwin Comenencia would report that the Aruban Police were still searching for the anonymous jogger that claimed to have seen something on the beach during the time Natalee went missing. This man called the police station a few days later and told the hot line operator he lived near the Marriott Hotel, where Natalee was last seen. He went on to say that he often jogs late at night. It was unclear exactly what the jogger claimed to have seen. And it would seem that the jogger never was found.

A Venezuelan newspaper called "Nuevo Dia", will show a photograph of the skeletal remains of an arm and a hand that washed up on the coast of Venezuela. This location is is apparently about 20 nautical miles from Aruba. The arm would be sent for testing, but in the end it too would prove to offer nothing to solving the mystery of where was Natalee Holloway.
