Beth re-energized in her beliefs

following her return to Aruba from Mt. Brook

Beth would leave the island of Aruba briefly at the end of July 2005. With her we will later learn she took what she considered documents pertaining to the case. She would read these documents and once she returned we would hear references to them over and over again. She felt these documents, even though they were not signed by the suspects would prove the sexual assaults, the going in and out of consciousness that she would reference time and time again, and basically these documents would give her the ammunition and right to repeat again and again Joran, Deepak and Satish were guilty of the disappearance of her daughter and unfortunately much more.

Beth also would return with a new cry, that her daughter had been tricked. When she was home in Mt. Brook, apparently she would speak to those that had gone to Carlos 'N Charlies and felt she had a clearer picture of what she was sure happened that night. Joran she believed had a habit of buying girls this high powered "151," drink and Natalee certainly if she would have realized Joran was with the Kalpoes she would not have been leaving with him. In fact her new cry is, Natalee, clearly thought that she was getting into a taxi. For Beth that is the only clear explanation of why Natalee left with these three individuals.

Beth will speak in this video of finally getting a clear picture of Joran. She also said that closing time at Carlos 'N Charlies is finally clearer to her. That for her was a piece that had been missing. Now she knows, that there is a mass exodus at closing time and that the cabs are all lined up outside. She is positive that Natalee thought she was getting in an Aruban cab. Several times Beth will emphasize that she knows Natalee would never get into a cab with Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. She only would do that, if she thought they were cab related.

Interesting she will also say that there are countless witnesses from Alabama that have not been interviewed. I say interesting, because it would only be a few short months later and Beth will claim that none of these students should be interviewed again.

Who actually hit Natalee?

One highly controversial piece in this interview is Joe Scarborough and his own investigation of that night. He claims to have spoke to someone that was there, that said twice Joran approached Natalee and she rebuffed him. The third time he tried to approach her he got so mad at her disinterest that he hit her with a closed fist?
Since by all accounts what Joe said is absolutely not true, it does make you wonder who actually hit Natalee, if someone did with a closed fist.

This would be one of many interviews to come where Beth would be so sure of events that even three years later to most people, are still not clear at all.

What became of this witness?

Beth Twitty would begin speaking about a witness, another young girl that approached her in Aruba with another Joran van der Sloot story that paralleled Natalee's except for the ending.

Beth said that an 18 year old tourist came up to her and shared her experience with Joran and the Kalpoe brothers. She too, was at Carlos 'N Charlie's, and it was late almost time for closing. This anonymous witness would say that Joran was always scoping out the females at Carlos 'N Charlie's.

These are Beth's words

There was a similar encounter as told to her by the anonymous witness. This is the same anonymous witness that no one has ever really heard of after Beth would speak of it adamantly back in August of 2005.

“He approaches these three tourists and it’s just interesting how he just instantly begins to try to connect with, begin to try to relate with them,” Twitty said. “And he was telling these girls that those are his gambling buddies, that they play poker together. And then he proceeds to lean across the bar and tell the bartender, “I need four shots of 151.’ He just leans across the bar; the bartender just lines up four shots of 151.

These girls had no idea. It makes me wonder, is this the shot he was buying my daughter right before closing time? A shot of 151? I wish Natalee would have been able to see that those three were tightly connected. She didn’t have that privilege. All she thought was she was getting into an Aruban cab. She didn’t have a chance. She didn’t stand a chance.”
