When was Paul brought into this?

On April 3, 2006 on MSNBC Rita Cosby Live & Direct, John Q Kelly the Holloway family attorney will have much to say, but little in the way of the truth when Rita questions him on recent developments.

Rita begins by suggesting that some unusual experts have been brought in to search for Natalee. With the new TV crew working on the reenactment show all over the island and the Dutch experts scouring the Dunes it would appear, according to Rita that there is a lot going on. Rita then asks John Q Kelly about the video being discussed, possibly showing Paul van der Sloot sitting at the black jack table in the casino talking to Natalee, the night she disappeared.

Rita asks John, "Is there a possibility that Paul was talking to Natalee on the night she disappeared?" John responds, "If you look at that video, he seems to be the one sitting beside her and engaging her in conversation. From what we know, his son was accessing his line of credit, if he had not been in there underage and allowed to use his father's line of credit.

What is most troubling for me is why the Holloway family attorney John Q. Kelly would directly implicate Paul van der Sloot by making these accusations. It was widely known in Aruba from almost the very beginning viewing the footage of this video that the man sitting next to Natalee was not Paul van der Sloot. Paul had given a statement very early with an accounting of his time that night. He left the casino and went home to babysit his ten year old son who was being dropped of by friends at their home. This was verified by the friends that dropped of Sebastian. It only makes sense that Aruban law enforcement would have checked Paul's statement with a most critical eye if he indeed had been sitting at that table next to Natalee. Just like with ABC, this would have been a huge "smoking gun."

So why did John Q Kelly say this? I do not know the answer to that but it certainly makes sense to me why the strong supporters on the Natalee forums like Scared Monkeys and Blogs for Natalee would positive that the man had to be Paul. After all if the Holloway attorney makes such a bold statement, they would be inclined to believe him.

Did JQK get his information from a Blogger?

Only days before John Q Kelly casts suspicion on Paul van der Sloot a known hate site Aruba Dirty Police posted a series of hatefilled blog posts with photos trying to implicate Paul sitting next to Natalee at the blackjack table.
