Will the Aruba police ever identify the killer? YES
1. by Jason Reeves
Being from the greater Birmingham Metropolitan Area, I have been following the coverage of this travesty very closely and it is my opinion that the real question should be, Will the Aruba police and the Aruba government ever stop trying to cover up this horrific travesty committed by one of their own? Surely these people do not think we Americans are so naive to believe that the Aruba police and politicians don't already know what happened and who did it. It is obvious that the strong political standing that Paul van der Sloot retains in both Aruba and in the Danish political circles have been used to corrupt the judicial and legal duties of both governments. The arrogant demeanor in which these governments have disgraced the life of the young Ms. Natalee Holloway is a travesty in itself and should be advertised as candidly as the beaches that are the life-blood of the small country's economy. These people have no regard for the life of an American yet they hold our dollar in high regard. The recent taped confession made by the younger van der Sloot should have made the case against him a sure thing but instead he walks free and the Aruba police and government once again slaps the face of Justice and Morality. Even the outspoken talk show host Mr. Bill O'Reilly has been quoted saying "until justice is delivered in this case people should just say NO to Aruba" and the American public is tired of the way this case has been handled by the Aruba government and police. This young lady's parents has suffered the greatest loss any parent could suffer in the loss of their child and only a few can imagine their pain and grief.
The van der Sloot's continue to prosper in their tropical paradise on the other hand apparently unscathed by the facts that have risen and the fictions that have fell through out this lengthy, stale investigation. Their' smug attitudes are repulsive and radiates the guilt that lies beneath their arrogant disregard for justice. We all know the truth now and the fact the Aruba doesn't care about justice for Ms. Holloway so the new question we should address is; Will the United States ever sanction Aruba and it's popular tourism industry? That is exactly what it will take to show these savages that modern day laws of life will not stand to be trampled upon or manipulated. But for right now those involved with this horrific crime are standing in the shadows laughing and naively thinking they have gotten away with this travesty. Little to their understanding no deed goes unjudged and justice will eventually catch up to all those involved from the least to the murderer himself. For now, however, they will continue to commit these heinous crimes; passing date rape drugs around the sandy shores and wiping the blood from their hands onto the garments of Lady Liberty herself. These cowards who violated this young lady and her right to life must be brought to justice along with the countries that harbor them. It is high time that the United States and those who call themselves our friend boycott the shores of Aruba in order to make a statement that will reverberate throughout the entire international community and express the firm belief in the right to life and liberty.

YES: The recently revealed secret videotaping of Joran van der Sloot's obscene and brutal bragging about Natalie's death is not only shocking, but should finally solve this case. As incredibly stupid as he was to make such a confession to a reporter, his casual, arrogant words reveal many facts of her death and disappearance that were already known, but were kept hidden by Aruba's authorities and van der Sloot's family until now. The videotape has to convince everyone, including the island's corrupt police and legal system, of his guilt.
Even if Natalee's death was not a deliberately doctored drink murder by van der Sloot and his bar-hopping, predatory friends, if found guilty of lesser crimes, he more than deserves severe punishment for his callous behavior. He is at least responsible for his arrogant refusal to seek help for her when it was obvious she was dying, and afterward when, as he described it, arranging for her body to be dumped in the ocean like "an old rag".
The revealing of the videotape happened in the US at a heavy news time, when public attention was overwhelmingly concentrated on the Super Bowl and Super Tuesday. However, considering the length of time that has elapsed since Natalee's murder and the severity of the crime and official corruption, the new developments deserved better US press attention. The media made much less of a fuss about the high school girl's death than it did concerning the disturbed Britney's police squad escort to the hospital's pyscho ward.
The revealed videotape, which apparently is a virtual confession of the sneering creep's guilt, is all the more damning because it may also prove that Aruba's authorities and van der Sloot's politically-influent ial parents may be criminally complicit in hiding his crime for the past three years. Additionally, their inexcusable actions have caused Natalee Holloway's parents untold days and months of fading hope, confusion and grief because of the island officials' inability, corruption and/or outright cowardice to reveal the truth.
Maybe, just maybe, because of the overwhelming evidence revealed by the videotape confession that Joran van der Sloot is guilty, at the very least, of unbelievable neglect and complicity in the young high school graduate's death and callous disposal of her body. If there can be any punishment added for his disgusting bragging and arrogance, he certainly deserves it.

I am not sure that there will ever be a murder conviction in this ridiculous and many times botched case but I do think that Joran Van der Sloot's admission on tape that he had a friend take her body out to sea and dump it well get the creep some form of punishment. This is another case of money and crooked damn lawyers hiding evidence and just not doing what they know to be right
I have thought all along that he was guilty of being involved in the death of poor Natalie. I never did think that it was pre-meditated murder. I think she was drinking and he may have skipped her some kind of drugs and the combination killed her, He says now that she died while they were having sex. Who knows what the truth is. Joran has lived all his life with a lawyer so he probably has no concept of truth. Maybe somehow between a stimulant of some kind that he slipped her and the sex, she had a heart attack. Who knows and with out the body to do an autopsy and toxicology studies on, I doubt that the real cause of her death will ever be known.
His callous attitude about the disposal of her body and the fact that he wasn't even sure if she was dead or not but had her body dumped out to sea where it would never be found deserves some kind of prison time for perjury, hiding facts in a wrongful death or something. I'd like to kick his ass just for being a rotten ass spoiled rich kid. His father has enough money that he will never get a murder charge but at least hopefully Natalie's parents will know the truth about what happened finally and the chapter in their life can be closed and that slime ball Joran Van der Sloot and his corrupt family will pay in some way for the rest of their life. The sad thing is that they could care less about Natalie or her family. All they care about is getting their rotten spoiled brat off from something he did and I am still not convinced that the father was not involved in this whole little conspiracy too.
I don't think the tape will get a murder charge but hopefully it will get him put away for a few years for hiding evidence or something and Natalie's parents will know the truth of what happened to their beautiful daughter.
