Deepak: I was picked up by my brother Satïsh at the place where I work. We then went to the "Taco Bell" in Santa Cruz. There we bought something to eat and after that we drove home. On the way home I was bitten by ants in the car. I had told my brother that when we got back home, we should clean the car, because if there were going to be girls in the car they would be bitten by ants too. Police: Had you agreed that there were going to be girls in the car? Deepak: We had not agreed anything, but I just thought that just in case that would happen. After we ate, me and my brother cleaned the car. I was called by Joran again at approximately 23:10 hours. He asked if we were still coming. I told him that we would be there shortly, I took a bath and then me and my brother went to Joran's place. I was sitting behind the wheel. Having arrived at Joran's, we had to wait for him. We arrived at Joran's at approximately 24:00 hours. Joran was still busy printing a school assignment.. |
It is interesting to note that the Kalpoe attorney says that the car hosing episode the neighbor is referring to did not occur in 2005 but in in a previous year.

Police: What do you use to clean the inside of your car? Deepak: I just use a vacuum cleaner with the square accessory that has bristles on the end. The colour of the bristles is black. I also cleaned my car several times with another brush with black bristles. That was when the vacuum cleaner was broken. I also use a sort of "Armor All" to clean the car on the inside. It happened twice that someone spilled a drink in my car. Once it was a 'Cherry Coke" that spilled on the seat on the passenger side and where the hand break is. That happened when I was with my brother. The other time someone bumped into my car from the back while I was holding a "whisky Coke". It fell between my legs, on the seat on the passenger side and on the carpet on the floor at the passenger side. Police: Did the girl throw up or vomit in your car? Deepak: The girl did not throw up in my car. Police: Has anyone has has ever thrown up in your car? Deepak: Nobody has ever thrown up in my car. |
