Who saw Deepak washing his car in the middle of the night?

No one knows exactly where the report of Deepak washing his car in the middle of the night exactly came from. There certainly has never been any official report. There was never any mention of this wee hour car washing in any of the statements either. Never the less, the rumor seemed to take on a life of its own. In fact in this April 22, 2006 interview with Beth Twitty, you will see that she encourages this car washing theory. And what follows is many posts supporting and being convinced that Deepak was seen washing his car.

Fox April, 2006 Kimberly Guilfoyle

From Birmingham is Beth Twitty, You heard Anita, what do you think?

Beth:
What I'm hearing about is what a a fine young man Joran is, I can't help but wonder how that fits into only spending the first 10 days washing the car inside and out, cleaning the car with cleaning fluid from the roof to the floor mats, corroborating stories with his father and the other suspects , hiring a team of attorneys, implicating two minority security guards, how does that go with what a good boy she claims he is. I just don't see it Kimberly.

I will agree that the Kalpoes didn't handle the disposal. They were busy at home washing Deepak's car along with another unknown person.

I feel there was one person who helped Paulus and Joran with the disposal and the one person is Freddy.
Dave has said there were 3 people seen washing Deepak's car that night (Deepak, Satish & Freddy).

I think Deepak witnessed something very bad and the transportation of a porn video that night was the last thing on his mind. Now if you ask me if Freddy or Joran might have done this I would say it's highly possible. Let's not forget that Deepak was seen outside his house with two other people washing his car. Yes Deepak might have not known the final outcome but he knew it was bad and it was bad enough for Paulus to send him home to start the alibi and clean up the evidence (his car). That alibi would not consist of the transmission of a video on his computer. .

I don't think Deepak is that picky about his car. He said that because he was seen washing his car at 3:00 am and he has to provide some sort of alibi for washing his POS car. If his car was all customized like they said it was it could cost a nice penny to do it.

Somebody ask this poster why Deepak was washing his car in the wee hours of the morning? Somebody ask this poster why the story just relayed wasn't the original one, but evolved after the 3 spent time in jail WITH the accused Security Guards they implicated? Somebody ask this poster why Deepak said to Joran that if they find the girl, they'll see that sh-t? And follow those questions with more questions, such as why Joran has had such a difficult time knowing who picked him up at the beach after he innocently left Natalee there! Deepak and Satish aren't twins! Be sure not to leave out this question: They told police on day 1 that Natalee had been returned to the HI, hit her head, and was approached by 2 black Security Guards. If they didn't KNOW she was dead, weren't they just a little concerned that when she emerged from her "tryst" unharmed, that ALE would KNOW they had been lying to them?

Also, remember last night arubagirl told us the Kalpoes' neighbor saw Deepak & Satish washing Deepak's car around 2 or 3 am that Monday morning Natalee disappeared.

The clean-up of the car is true because there is a witness -- but the assessment that Deepak could be meticulous about cleaning it out because of what happened could also be true -- but maybe more because he is an obsessive compulsive who wants to 'wash his dirty hands (symbolic of the car" because "something bad happened " to the car and therefore it was "dirty" -- and not necessarily filled with blood.

Somewhere or other in cyberland there is something about 1:18 and I do recall someone (maybe Deepak) about the 1:10 time. They circled three times because they "did not have seatbelts on." A "white car" was following them. Satish dropped off at 1:40. Going toward Montaja about 2:00 a.m. Seen at racquet club around 2:30. Washing car at 3:00, logged onto computer(?). All this is information given to us, I am afraid, so that we cannot construct a time line. Was this intentional? There was a call at 6:20 a.m. from A Sloot phone to Steve Croes.
