Where did Peter get information?

On Peter's website there was a link to contact the show if one had any information that would help them try and solve the mysterious disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Since so much of the real information, what there has been, mostly has been seen in the on line internet world before it ever is out in the press or television media, much discussion about Peter and his upcoming show would appear on the various Natalee message boards. One board, no longer available, Freedom of Blog, (FOB) was particularly involved with this upcoming Peter de Vries show.

Initially, FOB was hopeful that Peter might actually take an unbiased approach to this story and investigate all sides and find some significant new angle other than Joran and the Kalpoes. Freedom of Blog was started by a former Dutch Attorney, now living in the United States and there was never any secret to the sites, support and loyalty to Joran and the Van der Sloot family. In this there was some communication between FOB and the Van der Sloots about Peter and the upcoming show. It seemed in the very early stages some email exchanges had taken place between the show and the Van der Sloots and very briefly they might actually work in harmony. Thus, for a very short time FOB appeared favorable to Peter's investigating this story.

This however was very short lived. Almost immediately a couple different Dutch posters from FOB began speaking directly with one of Peter's representatives, and their consensus was that Peter was approaching this project believing in the guilt of Joran and the Kalpoes and would be looking at scenarios that would support what already had been stated by Aruba when they had been arrested. Never mind that all three had been released, and were no longer in jail, Peter planned to go with the same, "J2K did it," when he did his TV special in another month.

One poster's thoughts

Victor/Lazlo came to this conclusion, very quickly

De Vries team seems to have made up their mind.

J2K, that is my conclusion.

Victor/Lazlo posted that on October 20, 2006 and that seemed to be the way this story of Peter investigating this mystery would unfold. Lazlo would go on to say that she did not feel Peter was going to spend the usual amount of time, that he often does on other cases.
Victor/Lazlo also concludes after speaking with Peter's assistant that any further research will focus on how to prove Joran's guilt, not to prove his innocence.

Natalee Holloway, Peter R. de Vries - 21

In many respects Peter de Vries began, what I would say Part 2 of this case back in November of 2006. His goal of trying to bring down Joran continues today. by    Jan Brennan
