Sunday night, a new movie aired about the disappearance of Mountain Brook teen Natalee Holloway.

The Lifetime network movie called “The Natalee Holloway Story” starring Tracy Pollan as Beth Holloway Twitty.

The movie is based on Beth Twitty’s book Loving Natalee: A Mother’s Testament of Hope and Faith.

Folks across the country tuned in to watch “The Natalee Holloway Story” - including Birmingham attorney Charlie Ratcliff, a man who was born in Aruba but now lives here.

He says Natalee’s disappearance is still a difficult topic for folks in Aruba.

“To say it’s been devastating to the island is an understatement. Devastating emotionally. A lot of people are heart broken and horrified one of our guests was missing. There just wasn’t anything we could do to make her come back,“ says Ratcliff.

As the movie begins

I found these videos on line and my hope is that those outside of the United States and those that do not get the Lifetime Movie Network will be able to see this movie. In no way am I trying to take away from what Lifetime has done or keeping anyone from viewing this in the preferred medium, Lifetime Television. This case captivated the world over four years ago, and this girl remains missing. Perhaps anyone seeing the movie might somehow be able to provide answers to what really happened to this Alabama teen.

I have left pages between the videos for two reasons to help the pages load better and also to maybe post a few comments or thoughts on the various entries.
