Biggest Dutch newspaper covers the happenings in Aruba.

It would be apparent that this case was getting worldwide attention from the media. Unfortunately so much of that attention would come with such a bias against the suspects. At this point so little was known about what happened that night. The media seemed though to have a mind of its own in the way they would portray Joran as the wild teen, out of control verses Natalee the perfect rather shy girl that was always under control.

No surprise, guards released

In the case of missing teen, Natalee Holloway, the first two arrested, the security guards, are now released.

Security guards released

On June 13, 2005 the two security guards that had been detained but not charged are released. With this release it seems apparent that the focus is truly on the three young men that were last seen with Natalee Holloway. Already it is being suggested that they might be being protected because one of them, Joran van der Sloot is the son of a high ranking judicial official.
