In a news conference back in Birmingham, Holloway's aunt, Marcia Twitty, said Saturday that based on information police have relayed to the family, "We feel that we will have a definitive answer in 24 hours."
By June 7, 2005 the police were saying that accidental death had not been ruled out in the case of the missing Alabama teen. This teen is often in many of the news bulletin referred to as an honor student, making it of course all the more clear that she could not have brought upon her disappearance by any of her own actions. The police at this time say they are frustrated due to any significant solid leads in the case. Drug sniffing dogs are being used to help search the island, but Aruba has very few of these highly trained dogs available.
The hope is shared from one town to the other; yellow ribbons are attached to everything from mail boxes to automatic bank machines. People refuse to give up hope that Natalee Holloway will be found.
