An upcoming television program will delve into the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Ann Holloway.

“Haunting Evidence,” a show on Court TV that deals with strange and as yet unsolved cases, sent a team consisting of paranormal psychics to Alabama and Aruba.

Holloway, from Mountain Brook, Ala., disappeared on May 30, 2005, during a graduation trip in Aruba. Holloway remains officially missing to this day, although according to Aruban authorities, she is most likely dead. The disappearance generated a media sensation in both the U.S. and Aruba and sparked considerable interest in the Netherlands.

Holloway’s father, David Holloway of Meridian, said Monday he wasn’t notified prior to the show’s investigation.

“I’ll probably watch the show more out of curiosity than anything,” said David Holloway Monday. “I don’t think I’d put too much credibility to what they come up with. I think it’s better to leave the investigation up to the professionals.”

The show is scheduled to air at 9 p.m. Wednesday on Court TV.
