Would Aruba support the TES efforts?

Gerold Dompig was on record as stating that “he had heard from Miller about EquuSearch’s plans and wished them well, but that the government was unlikely to provide official support since the nonprofit group joined in an American call for a boycott of the island."

Tim Miller seems to feel that he has never called for a boycott of Aruba. Tim Miller's words,
“I have not called for a boycott of Aruba. I am not in favor of the boycott. The residents of Aruba are wonderful people, why should they be blamed and held responsible for the actions of a few? I do not feel that it is fair to the residents of Aruba. I do not want them to be a victim in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The three boys may be, but the Aruban people are not.”

One would think whether they be American or Aruban, everyone should just want Natalee found so that the Holloway’s and Twitty’s can have closure as well as the Aruban people. Hopefully that is a common goal we all can stand behind.

Cemetary distruction, more speculation

Destruction of Beach Cemetery would lead to more speculation that this too had to be related to the Holloway case.
 

ORANJESTAD (AAN) — In the afternoon hours, citizens reported to DIARIO to check what happened at the Beach Cemetery, due to some destruction that took place. When our photographer arrived, he truly met a situation which was not very good. At the location, he met with the person who is in charge of the Cemetery and according to him he comes every day to check on the cemetery. By chance, he came at noon and encountered 5 graves completely broken. The perpetrators broke everything that they could from these 5 graves. DIARIO does not know if the rage was against the deceased, but this is not a way to do things. Principally in the cemetery, as it is said, that if when one is dead one does not find peace that is when you die. DIARIO pleads for all those who could have seen something to call police to inform then about this case. Additionally, it’s good to inform that the case is under investigation.

Sadly it would seem that each and everything that happened in Aruba would make the news, at least on some of the on line sights following this case. There would be speculation that this cemetery destruction had to be related in some way to the Natalee mystery. It will continue even yet two years later, that whatever bad that happens in Aruba will be reported at several Natalee Holloway sites. It was a phenomena that would be hard for many to understand.
